Welcome to Steve Oatney's official site. Steve has been a professional illustrator & graphic designer for over 20 years. His illustrations are ideal for book covers, advertising, sequential-art, editorial, pin-up, and portraiture.
Subject-matter for Steve's work is primarily figurative, within the sci-fi, fantasy, and comic book genres. He uses a variety of digital and traditional media including conte, marker, charcoal, ink, graphite, acrylics, gouache, watercolor, and pastel. His range of styles span from realism to cartoon.
Attending a few national and local conventions, Steve can be found doing comissioned sketches and projects for pop-art fans. He accepts commissioned projects, so please feel free to contact him, for rates and availability.
